What are you reading?

When you work in a library, you have the opportunity not only to stay in the loop of what's new in the publishing world, but also to catch books that you might have missed when they first came out. I recently polled the staff on what they're reading, and found that the Pembroke Library staffers are reading a little of both categories.

Hot off the press:
Just take my heart/ Mary Higgins Clark (Heather)
Handle with care/Jodi Picoult (Judy)
Wildwater walking club/ Claire Cook (Heather)

Still going strong:
Twilight/ Stephenie Meyer (Darlene)
The host/ Stephenie Meyer (Linda M.)
Dewey/ Vicki Myron (Linda Mc)

Books you may have missed:
Academ's fury/ Jim Butcher (Jen)
A great and terrible beauty/Libba Bray (Jess)

The staff is also reading a wide range of nonfiction titles, from the Flylady, Marla Ciley's "Sink Reflections" on home organization to "Freakin'Fabulous - How to dress, speak, behave, eat, drink, entertain, decorate and generally be better than everyone else" by Clinton Kelly. I also happen to know that even though everyone didn't respond to my poll, we're also reading books on web page design, gardening, travel, and cooking.

But enough about what we're reading. What are YOU reading?
Post a comment and tell us what you're reading!
